The Third Place Career
In June 2015 we will be looking for three amazing personalities in Arlington, VA that would treat our business as their own and deliver WOW through service to our customers.
The Third Place has an interesting concept and it will become extremely successful, either immediately or never. If you can take this kind of risk and we do succeed – you can be the one to get a raise, excel your career, lead the team and help with opening our next location. All in the matter of few months.

Apply if you:
- are over 21;
- are ok with extremely unstable schedule for the first 2 months;
- like the concept and would like to take a risk;
- are friendly, smart and hard-working.

Responsibilities:
- greet customers
- offer a glass of juice or other refreshments to enjoy as they browse;
- explain what The Third Place is;
- provide help if you’re needed. Back off if you’re not. The quickest way to chase customers out the door is to chase them around the store. Customers get annoyed if they feel they’re being pressured, followed or watched.
- prepare drinks for customers: coffee, tea, juices, beer and cocktails. Experience is a big plus, but not required.
- coordinate and lead events in a friendly and funny way. Most important responsibility, since we have events every night. Consider seriously before applying.
- respond to emails and phone calls;
- have fun during slow times You can teach and play a board game, video game, foosball, or read a book or participate in event. We really think that work should be fun, and each day you should be looking forward to it. Just make sure that there is nothing else to do, you are covered by your colleague and at any point you can get back to work
